Dr. Ophaug earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her pediatric residency training at Akron Children’s Hospital in Akron, Ohio. She pursued extra training in behavioral and mental health and especially enjoys caring for kids and teens with ADHD, anxiety, and depression, along with the full range of general pediatrics from newborns to young adults. She is board certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
She joined Pediatric Partners in 2024 and values building lasting relationships with families while supporting both the physical and emotional well being of her patients.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Ophaug enjoys traveling (she has been to more countries than she can count, with Vietnam a favorite), spending time outdoors, and finding new coffee shops and restaurants. At home, she and her husband Josh, an avid New York sports fan, stay busy with their two dogs: Rafa, named after Rafael Nadal, and Frankie, named after Mets star Francisco Lindor.
